"Transformers 3" filming in Chicago
S Office of Emergency Management and Communications in Chicago (OEMC) yesterday held a press conference announcing the filming of Transformers 3 .
Michael Bay and the rest of the cast will be in the "Windy City" from July 10 to August 19. Below is an excerpt of the announcement appeared in the Chicago Tribune:
Jose Santiago, OEMC executive director, said that the closure of LaSalle Street (between 8 pm July 9 at 5 am on July 12) of the Michigan Avenue bridge (from 8 pm on July 16 at 5 am on July 19) and Upper Wacker Drive (between 9 pm on July 18 at 5 am on July 22) will have the most impact on traffic. He added that most of the filming will be carried out during the day.
"It 's an ambitious production and production ... but we are committed to reduce the trouble and to respond to community concerns," said Chicago Film Office director Rich Moskal.
